- the structure of this journal

cycle-by-cycle:

1. AWARENESS
1.1 "I am / I"
This journal exercise will help understand the things that make you-you, thus realise who you are.
1.2 "the best feelings"
Isolate the things that give life meaning, and what makes you feel most like yourself.
1.3 "non-negotiables"
What are the non-negotiables that YOU need in your life to live it to its full?
1.4 "the best self"
Who is your best self, and how can you be that best version of you ?
2. PERSPECTIVE
2.1 "I used to ..."
Looking at what you used to do and exploring why you did it and how it made you feel, helps to find a deep, authentic understanding of yourself.
2.2 "balance boxes"
What is out of balance? And what fits in your life to balance things out again?
2.3 "new things"
Sometimes, discovering more about who you are starts with doing something you've never done before.
2.4 "everything I love"
Listing them, and seeing them all in one space is a sure way to prove to you how many amazing things exist in your life.
3. VALUES
3.1 "core values"
Isolate your core values: what matters most TO YOU by contrasting past moments where you either felt deeply alive, fulfilled, proud OR frustrated, disappointed, let down.
3.2 "relationship values"
Identify the qualities you admire in 4 types of relationships, to know what you value in others, in your interactions and connections, what you admire and require; your relational values.
3.3 "gains & drains"
Contrasts what gives you energy, vs what drains your energy. Having it all out on paper in plain sight is incredibly progressive.
3.4 "triggers"
Identify your personal triggers, recognise how strongly they affect you, and create a reminder or practical response to support yourself when you encounter them.
