Funny story really, I didn't ever intend or imagine these journals to be printed... â€‹

But here we are...

When I began creating and designing the exercises within these journals, they were to help me.

I was full of self-doubt, so lost, and so low.

These exercises were my own self-designed method to discover and understand my way out, and back to myself.

They ended up having much more than the intended original impact... So much so that friends wanted them too.

So I gathered up the exercises into a sequential systematic flow, and here we are.

(Don't get me wrong - there have been countless drafts and what began in 2021 has come a long way. But in essence, that's how it went.)

WHY JOURNALING?

Even after years of talking therapy, somehow, journalling was what transformed my mindset the most.

It was not that the therapy was useless… the therapy enabled the self-prompting, which IS the journals... but I

guess most importantly, it exposed something crucial:

No matter what the situation, you know what you need, and what to do better than anyone else can tell you.

You are the expert of your own life.

And I know (too well) that at times that absolutely doesn’t feel true,

but give yourself space and time, however that looks and is possible within your life,

and you will discover it for yourself.

WHY NOW?

It's cliche but true that I discovered and am doing this - from doing my own journal (your self).

I started my first business whilst at university, always of a more entrepreneurial nature not really sure where I fit in to the 9-5 life. Before university I worked as a model in London (continued for almost 12 years now), as well as within health and wellness - naturopathy, cheffing, recipe development. I continued after uni before finding myself amongst some of the world's leading entrepreneurs (in producing Alex Chisnall's podcast Screw It Just Do It), and most recently working as a personal trainer. â€‹

As you can see - a mix of creative and developmental, own or not consistent hours,

Plus, what you might notice about this diverse and varied array of pursuits is the thread that ties them all together:

fitness, entrepreneurship and business, health and wellness, modelling, studying

the single most profound thing I learnt from working across these business and life pillars; listening, watching, observing, learning, is that everything - I mean it, everything - all comes back to your mind, your understanding, and your belief.

And this I wholeheartedly believe, as I have not only witnessed it, but experienced it myself too. So why would I not share such a powerful tunnel into true self-fulfilment - when I have seen and experienced exactly what is needed to get (anyone) there themselves?

WHY NOW: continued ...

THIS WORK IN TODAY'S WORLD

In today's world, we are surrounded by, bombarded with, external influence. â€‹

Be that media, influencers, advertising, everything and anything seems to be telling us what to do: 'do this', or 'eat this', or 'if you want this, do this'... that naturally, we drift away from ourselves and what we really want, or need, or like.

It comes as no surprise that coincidentally we are seeing rising depression and anxiety, especially in young individuals (I'm 30 and I consider myself in this bracket), where the sheer amount of choice and decisions can be overwhelming.

Add on the inevitable pressure of the modern world (societal, parental, peer) and you've got a challenging recipe.

Understanding yourself - what makes you feel good, what you need in your life to support you living it to the full, what you're inherently really good at, (what you're not so good at and should rather delegate), what triggers you and why, what you value, what your mission and purpose in life is - is the information that creates true confidence.

It is invaluable. And pivotal to self-optimisation, and personal growth and development.

This work is

the start to living your best,

most authentic and fulfilling

life.
